So, I reviewed Berryz Koubou’s new single too early, and now I want to add on a score for their B-side, which I recently downloaded.
B-side – Maji Good Chance Summer
I love this B-side a lot more than its A-side. It begins with Risako saying something. She says something like “Moshi moshi, uh, Okaa-san? Ano ne?” so I assume she’s calling her mom to ask her something. Then the song starts. It’s very upbeat and happy. I like it and it’s a lot more catchy and easy on the ears than Yuke Yuke. There’s a lot of Risako, Miyabi and Momoko, but that’s expected. Midway through the song, Risako talks to her mom again. Judging from the tone of her voice, she’s shocked about something. Overall, it’s a catchy song and will raise the single’s rating quite a bit.
9/10
With a new addition, let’s reevaluate the single!
Song: 6/10
PV: 5/10
Outfits: 5/10
Dance: 6/10
B-side: 9/10
Previous overall: 5.5/10
Current Overall: 6.2/10
So, the B-side raised this single’s rating up by 0.7!
