When I heard the news, I wasn’t really planning on writing a whole post on this. But then I realized, I am Absol-ute C-ute and I should report on C-ute. Anyways, C-ute member Arihara Kanna was caught in a scandal last night. Photos were taken of her with yet another Johnny’s Entertainment member, Ryosuke Hashimoto. There hasn’t been any news about Kanna yet, but I don’t have a good feeling about this.

Edo no Temari Uta II is Better Than the Title

When the title of this single was announced, I had my doubts because temari translates to “handball”. I feared that this single would be another cute one like LALALA or Sakura Chirari. After hearing the preview, I still had my doubts about whether or not I liked this single. Now that the PV is out, I have come to a conclusion. I fucking love this song and PV.

The Atsuura Maya Discography Adventure!
Published July 23, 2008 Matsuura Aya 4 CommentsTags: Matsuura Aya
A couple of weeks ago, we were discussing Matsuura Aya in wotachat, and MaiZe and Kirarin☆Snow☃ (YESSS I PUT THE SYMBOLS) convinced me to download her discography. Ayaya is MaiZe’s favorite H!P member, so she was very enthusiastic about me listening to Ayaya. So far, there are no singles that I particularly dislike, but a lot of the songs stuck out to me as pretty good. I’m listing these songs in the order of where they were in my playlist, not based on which I like the most. I also apologize for not elaborating on my ideas more, but Ayaya has a lot of songs, and I want to get through all of the songs without having to write a lot for each single I like.
Yuke Yuke Mediocre Dance Review Edit
Published July 7, 2008 Berryz Koubou 1 CommentTags: Berryz Koubou, review, yuke yuke monkey dance
So, I reviewed Berryz Koubou’s new single too early, and now I want to add on a score for their B-side, which I recently downloaded.
B-side – Maji Good Chance Summer
I love this B-side a lot more than its A-side. It begins with Risako saying something. She says something like “Moshi moshi, uh, Okaa-san? Ano ne?” so I assume she’s calling her mom to ask her something. Then the song starts. It’s very upbeat and happy. I like it and it’s a lot more catchy and easy on the ears than Yuke Yuke. There’s a lot of Risako, Miyabi and Momoko, but that’s expected. Midway through the song, Risako talks to her mom again. Judging from the tone of her voice, she’s shocked about something. Overall, it’s a catchy song and will raise the single’s rating quite a bit.
9/10
With a new addition, let’s reevaluate the single!
Song: 6/10
PV: 5/10
Outfits: 5/10
Dance: 6/10
B-side: 9/10
Previous overall: 5.5/10
Current Overall: 6.2/10
So, the B-side raised this single’s rating up by 0.7!
