I don’t like this single. I want this single to go die in a fire. Don’t get me wrong, parts of it are okay, I guess, but the whole package? Ugh.
Well, time to review the positive and not-so-positive parts of this single.

My first thoughts on loading up the PV were kind of weird. Here is an idea of what I thought as I watched the PV:
Ooh, so the PV is designed pretty much like the cover, huh. Same font, same outfits…
Interesting black and white theme here
Weird, they’re sitting down? Uh, twisting foot, then crawling across leg? Wtf, weird dance, I guess.
Hey, Kashiyuka has different shoes than them. I wonder if it’s a sign. Eh, moving on…
Ah, look, it’s Nocchi! Heh, she looks kind of like a penguin. Oh, cool, there’s a row of Nocchis. Interesting, they don’t all look the same, so it’s not like a mirror, huh.
Whoa, A~Chan crumpling herself up into a ball of paper? Interesting, I guess they’re going making it recursive (thanks for adding to my vocabulary, Kirarin_Snow! :D). Ooh, look it’s Kashiyuka! Whoa, she crumpled A~Chan up into a ball and threw her away! That’s pretty mean, Kashi.Wait, wait, OH MY GOD SHE’S IN A RUBIK’S CUBE. KASHIYUKA<3
Alright, we saw all three girls…back to Nocchi…? Yep, showing another shot of the three girls, same order…
Ooh, catchy chorus! If my horrible Japanese does not fail me this time, I THINK they’re saying not to give up. Or something. Whatever, cool dance.
Huh, I wonder if Kashi and Nocchi are wearing the same thing. Oh, different shoes and shorts, actually. The white background makes it difficult to see Kashi’s feet, though.
Cute dance! I wish they would release a dance shot, but this isn’t H!P.
Interesting, more Rubik’s Cubes. Whoa, cube in cube in cube. Ooh, more Kashiyuka! This song is pretty catchy.
Hm, now they’re doing jumps in slow motion…Kashi’s long hair makes it difficult to see her face when she’s jumping, actually.
Huh, now they’re sitting on each other’s shoulders? More confusing shots! Hm, A~Chan solo while they make more confusing recursive shots. Oh, wow, Kashi solo! She gets almost chorus, actually. I wonder if there’s a Nocchi solo next…NO, NO NOCCHI SOLO THIS TIME. WHERE IS THE NOCCHI SOLO? Okay, now there are more cute Perfume girl shots, jumping around and all…end!
So those were my initial thoughts, basically. Now that I’ve had time to think about it, I think, like many people, that Kashi is going to be the main girl of Perfume pretty soon. She got a pretty long solo at the end (longer than A~Chan’s) and Nocchi didn’t even get a solo. Is this a representation of how upcoming singles will be?
Now that Perfume is getting more and more popular, I don’t think they’re going to do any more Computer-ey songs. I liked Electro World and Computer City, but they’re probably going to be trying to reach out to a larger audience now, so their songs have to be more, uh, mainstream?
Also, I think I’ve been noticing a trend with my favorites. In C-ute and Buono!, I’m a total Airi-freak. Is it because Airi is the center of attention? Is the UFA’s evil plot to have Airi take over H!P working? Or do I like Airi because Airi is Airi? (Whoa, three Airis in one sentence!) And in Perfume, Kashiyuka has been my favorite for a while, and she’s starting to get a bit more attention now. Do I always favor the popular girls?!
Five exclamation points in the title! Hahaha.
Alright, if I haven’t made it clear yet, Buono! is one of my favorite groups, and I haven’t yet reviewed their latest single, so I’m doing that now! Eventually, I’ll try to review Café Buono!, but I want to review Kiss! Kiss! Kiss! first. Now let’s get to it!
PV
Hm, I like the PV, I think. I like the Renai Rider PV, but this one is quite different so I don’t know which I like more. I’m annoyed that Momoko constantly has to do the cute dork act, though. While some people think she’s adorable, I find her more adorable when she’s just Momo. When she’s reading children’s books or emphasizing her shortness, I find her annoying. However, this could just be the director’s fault and not her’s, so I say STOP MAKING MOMOKO LOOK CHILDISH. Remember in Honto no Jibun when she was taking a nap and all the girls were throwing paper balls at her? Or in Renai Rider when she got the tricycle instead of the mini motorcycle? GR, stop giving Momo the short end of the stick. :(
Er, now, ignoring that whole Momoko rant I had there, I do love other aspects of this PV. The set is cute and there are quite a lot of different scenes. I loved the food bit (the harmonica part)! I also thought the band parts where they were cleaning up were really cute. I wish Airi did a kiss at the end, but I do think her smile was amazing at the end. All in all, the PV is cute, Airi is cute adorable amazing great all around, Miya has cool shoes, and Momo’s just being Momo again.
8/10!
Dance
Like many others, I thought this dance was a little simple, but I like it. It fits with the song, and they did pack this song with a lot of different scenes, so there was no need for a complicated dance that wouldn’t even be featured a lot (in the main PV). I like their funny moves (like sticking out their arms at the beginning) and I like the slowed down bits. I also think incorporating that sleeping part into the dance was a good idea, because I have no idea how they would dance at that bit.
A problem I have with the dance shot that does not affect the girls is that damn camera. If you watch the dance shot, you’ll notice the camera constantly zooming in and out, and I found that incredibly annoying. I wish the camera would just stay still like in their previous dance shots. But, it’s not like that’s the girls fault, so I don’t mind that much.
8/10!
Song
I liked this song, but out of the singles, I think Renai Rider was the best (Nakimushi Shounen being the best album song). The song is catchy and interesting, though. Again, I like the slow parts and the parts where they yell “Jounetsu no kisu! Kono “seishun” ni kisu!” and all of that. Hm, I have no problems with this song, now that I think about it. My only complaint: Airi has one less line than Miya and Momo. >____>
9/10!
Outfits
The outfits are cute but a little too similar to Honto no Jibun’s outfits. i think they should stop with the punk schoolgirl image because it kind of got old when Avril Lavigne started trying to do it. Regardless, I do think the outfits are nice. Not to be biased, but Airi has the best outfit here! I love her pins and socks! I love Momoko’s double-layered skirt, but I am not a big fan of her sweater because it seems a little too small for her (LOL, something too small for Momo?). Miya’s outfit is cool, I have no problems with it. Also, I am in love with Airi’s treble clef earring the way SB is in love with Miya’s heels. The earring is just amazing and I want ittt.
Secondary Outfit
This time, contrary to what I said about Momoko’s earlier sweater, Miya’s top is way too big in this set! I do love her hat and arm sleeve things, though (No idea what those are called). Airi’s outfit this time is a little simple, but still cute. I’m not a fan of Momoko’s leopard shirt, but the ribbons do make her cuter (so do Airi’s bows). Refer to my Buono! eyecandy post if you want to see more pictures of their amazing outfits!

Band Version
The Single V of this came with a band version, which shows the scenes where they clean in the hallway and have the instruments. Uh, I find this version cool, but Miya sure is in the middle a lot. Momo also drums in an amusing way. I love Airi no matter what she’s doing, so you know how I feel about her in this video.
8/10!
Minna Daisuki – B-side
I love this B-side! The hop, step, jump parts are an improvement over the ones in Kokoro no Tamago and I really like it. The whole song is very catchy and very Shugo Chara!. I wish there was a dance shot for this like Kokoro, but alas, there isn’t one.
9/10!
Wow, this was a pretty long review, but there was just a lot to cover! Hopefully, Gachinko de Ikou will be just as good, if not better than this single.
Overall: 8.5/10!

1. What was the first Japanese song that you ever listened to?
Hm, I don’t remember, it was a really long time ago. In second or third grade, my brother listened to the Japanese artists Ayumi Hamasaki, Utada Hikaru and BoA, so I assume it was one of their songs.
2. Did it inspire you to like that group/singer, or did it turn you away?
Of course! I loved those artists after my brother introduced me to them.
3. What is the one song that you have been listening to for the longest time?
Gee, I don’t really know. Even though I still like Ayumi, Utada and BoA, I don’t listen to their songs all the time. I really liked the song God Knows by Aya Hirano (for The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya) so I think that’s the oldest song I can think of.
4. What group/singer have you liked the longest?
Brand New or Something Corporate, but they both sing in English, so does that count?
Eh, in J-pop, I took a sort of hiatus from listening to them in second/third grade till eighth-tenth grade (right now). Again, I don’t really listen to the groups I used to like back then, but right now I’m basically listening to H!P. Actually, I listened to KAT-TUN before any H!P, so I guess KAT-TUN would be the longest.
5. What is the song with the most plays on your itunes/media player?
Ooh, I just reset my play count about a month ago >_______<
But Minna Daisuki currently is in the lead, and I do love that song.
6. Is that song your favorite?
Hm, it’s one of my favorites.
7. If not, what is?
My favorites switch around a lot. When there’s a new release, I listen to it all the time for a few days, then I move onto the next release and go crazy over that song! I guess two of my favorites would be Endless Love~I love you more~ and Nakimushi Shounen.
8. Is there any one group that you can listen to all/most of the songs by? If so, who?
Uh, I love every single Buono! song! I haven’t found one I don’t like. :P
9. What is your favorite agency?
H!P, kind of because the only other agency I know of is JE, and I only listen to ARASHI and KAT-TUN from JE. Also, H!P has Suzuki Airi in it, so that’s an automatic win.
10. What is your favorite group/singer?
Buono! is my favorite group, but SUZUKI AIRI IS THE BEST SINGER EVAR.
